Mark Yallop CBE is an experienced financial services leader and dedicated supporter of charitable and community organisations. He is Deputy Chair and co-founder of QantX LLP, a South West-based venture fund working with six South West based universities, and is also involved in several marine businesses and as an angel investor in financial technology companies. Mark previously served as an External Member of the Bank of England’s Prudential Regulation Committee and Financial Market Infrastructure Committee and chaired the Financial Markets Standards Board. His earlier career included senior executive roles at UBS, ICAP, and Deutsche Bank, where he helped shape major developments in global markets and financial regulation. Alongside his professional work, Mark has held board and advisory roles across the charitable and educational sectors, and he currently serves as a Trustee of Horatio’s Garden and a non executive member of the Chapter at Exeter Cathedral. He was awarded a CBE in the 2024 New Year Honours for services to the financial services industry and to charity.
