It has been another remarkable year at LandWorks ̶ one full of achievement, growth, and community spirit.
Our Open Gardens weekend at the Sandridge Park Estate in May raised an incredible £20,000 towards our vital work reducing reoffending and transforming lives. We also published our second recipe book, The Big Thank You, welcomed over 150 supporters and partners to our 13th annual Supporters’ Day in August, and were honoured by a visit from HRH The Princess Royal in October.
Most importantly, we have welcomed over 40 new trainees to LandWorks, offering practical, financial, social, and emotional support to help them rebuild their lives and see beyond their criminal identity.
Now, with Christmas just around the corner, we’re busy stocking the LandWorks shop for what we hope will be our best festive season yet!
If you’re hunting for thoughtful, handcrafted presents, look no further. Every item sold in the LandWorks shop helps fund our work supporting people leaving prison (or at risk of going there) to find employment, stability, and purpose.
Our handmade wooden gifts — chopping boards, platters, turned bowls, and bird boxes — are made with pride by our trainees and graduates. You’ll also find beautiful ceramics mugs (as favoured by HRH The Princess Royal!), jugs, vases, and incense holders, along with a joyful range of wooden reindeer, Santas, and Christmas trees, plus festive cards, decorations, and candle holders.
Don’t miss our fresh, organically grown vegetables for your Christmas table, or logs and kindling for those cosy firesides. The LandWorks shop contributes around 25% of our annual running costs, making every purchase truly meaningful.
You’ll find us at Quarry Field on the Dartington Estate (TQ9 6EA) ̶ open 9–6 weekdays and 10–5 weekends in the run-up to Christmas.
